Second day working for arete outdoors, I was shadowing Jon Elliot today, was very usefull Morning as Jon taught me a lot about supervising a group but ensuring they make all the decision and they see you (me) as a 'safety officer' for that morning, really usefull, navigation wasen't really needed but as they were an NCS group we could let them lead the way, we went up Conway mountain, so not physically changeling at all but this meant that my focus was on the group. Really useful as this meant I could start working on giving the group information about the weather and some info on flora and fourna and see how the group reacted. Really usefull day.
