With two mock clients. Climbed Savage slit in series with some 'mock leading' for the clients. One with some trad experience the other with zero so we also covered lead belaying, competent seconding skills and some anchor building basics. The more experienced of the two built their own anchors independently and could already belay from above. They 'lead' two of the pitches. Big abseil down fallout corner with me protecting them both with a safety rope (Italian hitch).

The Northern Corries of Cairngorm offer several quality Trad climbs, both in Coire an t-Sneachda and Coire an Lochain. This section also includes the summer scrambles on Lurcher's Crag and the training ground of the Chalamain Gap.
