Very wet day and useful to still get lots done. Working with 2 mock clients whilst being observed by Joe Fraser. One client has some trad and leading experience and wants their partner to become a competent second (and brush up on leading skills) so that they can get out together. With the weather leading for client wasnt an option so I led route 2 in 3 pitches then route 1 in 4 pitches. All climbing in series to allow the 'leader' the opportunity to build a variety of belays and belay from above. 'Second' worked on lead belaying, helping to manage stances, removing and racking gear and attaching herself to belays. Loads of development for both throughout the day. Predominantly out of reach anchors for the leader but also used some sling anchors with a discussion on its usefulness when block leading.
