Planned a day out for a visiting friend.
From the parking on the old Ogwen Road at Tai-Newyddion, I headed south west along the massive leading stone wall and then the scree slope up to the base of Atlantic slabs.
Here we took the main Atlantic slabs scramble up the arete-ish rock formation.
After topping out we bagged a summit of Carnedd y Filiast before working out way through the boulders and Heather of the North East face and the prominent spur above the slabs back down to the valley.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
