Day 1 (afternoon) of our Women's Introduction to outdoor climbing. We set up some bottom ropes in the Chant/20 foot crack area. The skills learnt in the morning were put into practice and we could also assess their ability to belay safely. we managed about 2 hours of climbing before the rain came back with vengeance.
Area :Peak District Grit: Burbage, Higgar, Carl Wark, Houndkirk
This Area includes the crags in the Burbage vicinity, including all the Burbage Edges, Higgar Tor, Carl Wark and Houndkirk Tor.
