A sunrise ascent of Gingilos, 1980m. Leaving at 3am, to avoid the heat and to gain the summit for sunrise, I led 6 ladies to the summit. Many of them had never walked in the dark, and some were nervous of steep terrain. All of them made it, and were very emotional with their achievements. A lot of work with them all for descending, steep scree and rocks to negotiate. 8 hours, 8km 900m ascent.
