Grade 2 to 3 scramble on the Idwal slabs, up to Cwm Cneifion in very wet conditions, we decided that it was to wet for the Cneifion Arête so made our way to Y Griben for some grade 1 fun and the weather started to settle and we enjoyed a nice walk down from Glyder Fawr to the Devils kitchen and a brew at Oggy Cottage.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
