Description

Well what can I say.........perfect conditions for my first visit to Skye. I took two others up to the Inn Pin. Route as per the GPX File. It was good for my scrambling skills to be used as the leader. I had far to much hardware for the route however this is were you learn what you need and what you don't. The two others are in the Royal Marines and they moved well on the terrain. having gone through tying in and belaying the night before was good use of the evening on meeting them. We also had practiced moving as a three, taking in and letting out coils when needed.
The rock was super dry and very grippy. I had noticed along the route the amount of rather loose spikes! I used a mix of direct and indirect belays of course checking each anchor before use.
Parked at the Glen Brittle.
