Description

Walked from my house to Cherhill and back to practice navigation skills. Headed into the countryside by following a RoW from Spitfire Road, towards the Hills plant. From there followed a series of paths and cycle ways to Compton Bassett, before picking up a Bridle way that took me into Cherhill and up the hill to the monument. A quick loops around the White horse, before dropping down and following the A4 back into Quemerford. I left the A4 and followed a Row leading North West through pastureland and a small brook. Eventually picking up the foot path leading behind Westbrook and up to Low lane, below the Recreational ground.
The navigation stopped here, as it was residential streets and I know the town like the back of my hand and could navigate back home easily.
