Description

Lisa's second alpine route. My first time on Perrons since 2017 with Ali C and Stu MacDonald.
Really enjoyed the challenge of climbing alpine style and keeping Lisa safe. Remembered a fair bit from what Stu had taught - most valuable: short pitches. A pair of young french lads - bless them - hadn't had the benefit of that training and were holding us up with long pitches.
This did give us a chance to get to know the three Danes, two young soldiers being guided by Asmus. While photographing at an abseil queue Asmus dropped his Carte Vitale and lost it between cracks. We had a fair crack with poles at getting it but with ab free, he abandonned. I tried a different tack and down climbed around the pillar it had fallen into (ridiculous way to die!) and with help of french guide who took my pack, I just reached it.
Great day in the mountains.
