Walked in to look at Cneifion Arete however from what we could see there was to much ice on the route up so we assumed that it would be to risky for a scramble up high.
Instead for me to get some practice in I picked a route from grid 646 595 followed the wall up to where it finishes at Gribin facet. we roped up ad I picked my way up the ridge above Gribin facet. using the rope for direct belays and indirect belays. Observations for my self was to keep rope tight between me and second as sometimes could have been tighter. Good things were speedy belays. Cold day but well worth the outing and finding an alternative.
