Description

Leadership day- Nic and Becs on Y Gribin
Original plan was to take Nicola and Rebecca over Crib Goch but after gently questioning about confidence/ability, we decided to have a day scrambling up Bochlwyd and onto Glyder Fawr, with some Nav practice too.
Both girls did really well and we decided that Becs would do Crib Goch next day.. Nicola would try South Ridge on Snowdon to gain some more confidence with exposure first.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
