Description

The Cho La Pass. We camped at the top of the pass. There was a fresh covering of snow from 5100m upwards making conditions underfoot a little tricky. All water sources were frozen for our planned resupply. Descending after a very cold and foodless night thanks to a stove malfunction, there had been more snowfall during the night making for quite serious conditions. Dropping down to Dzongla we chose to stay the night to allow the snow to melt off a little prior to the final pass.
