Description

Siabod via exploring quaries. Scramble onto top via East Ridge. Assisted lost walker) (they were at the summit and didn't know where they where) to show them how to descend to PyB. Descended to Capel Curig via NE ridge which was fun scambling in places with some stomach churning gully vies in others but generally unremarkable. Descended in dark and picked up bearing to fence (boggy) and on to quarries into Pont Cyfyng and to hut.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
