Description

Tryfan via Heather Terrace and South Ridge - With my partner Lina
I followed the route i was taken on while on my Mountain Leader Training course and practiced some of the skills i was taught - particularly protecting the client while traveling over rough ground, standing between her and any dangerous steps. Did plan to practice some rope work on a bad step at the end of the terrace but she didn't fancy it...
We descended via South Ridge and then out on via Cwm Bochlwyd

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
