Day 2 (Day 1 for me) DofE Assessor - Queen's School - Chester. Working for Mountain Water Expeditions as a DofE Assessor. Joined as an Assessor on Day 2. The Group had started the day before in Llangollen, camping at Wern Isaf. Started my first morning at Wern Isaf and Assessed the group through Sunday, June 23, and Monday June 24, 2024. Camped night 2 at Llyn Rhys Campsite. Day 3 moved through Llandegla to end at Bwich Panbarras (Moel Famau) Car Park. Tempurtures ran to 31C during the day.

Area : Clwydian Range

The Clwydian Range (Welsh: Bryniau Clwyd) is a series of hills and mountains in north east Wales that runs from Llandegla in the south to Prestatyn in the north, with the highest point being the popular Moel Famau. The range is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
