Description

Day 1 Parked at Pen y Bwlch and headed over Moel Eillio, Foel Gron, Foel Goch. Headed down to the Ranger Path and made are way to the over night camp location at Llyn Coch. Day two headed up on to the Rhyd-Ddu Path to the summit of snowdon, then back down the Pyg Track to Pen y Pass car park. Low moving cloud throughout the two days giving some challenging Navigation legs for myself and group.

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
