Description

On 14th August 2022, I led a challenging hike up Corne de Sorebois (2,895 m) in Switzerland, with Nikki. The weather was perfect for the ascent—clear and sunny with no wind—allowing us to fully appreciate the breathtaking views along the way.The hike was demanding, with nearly 1,500 meters of ascent, but the effort was well worth it. The views from the summit were incredible, offering a panoramic vista of the surrounding mountains. The reservoir below was particularly striking, with the water’s color so vivid it almost looked unreal.Although the climb took us a considerable amount of time, the conditions were ideal for enjoying the hike and making the most of the experience. This Quality Mountain Day was a memorable one, focusing on endurance, leadership, and the rewards of taking on a challenging route in stunning surroundings.
