As a qualified Mountain Leader and endurance coach, I specialize in guiding individuals and teams through challenging terrain while integrating performance training and navigation skills. With expertise in biomechanics, event organization, and outdoor leadership, I create safe, structured, and rewarding mountain experiences that enhance resilience and confidence.
basically, I get people lost on purpose and then teach them how to find their way back (safely, of course!). Whether you're tackling rugged terrain or just trying to survive your own training plan, I've got the skills (and snacks) so you can get the very best out of the time you spend outdoors.

My Mountain Leader Journey
From endurance coaching to adventure in the mountains, my journey has always been about pushing limits—both mine and those I work with. Becoming a Mountain Leader wasn’t just about earning a qualification; it was about deepening my understanding of the landscapes I love, learning how to move safely through them, and helping others gain the confidence to do the same.
With a background in athletics coaching, I’ve always been drawn to performance, resilience, and the thrill of exploration. But the mountains add something extra—a sense of challenge that goes beyond just fitness. Navigation in the wild, decision-making under pressure, and adapting to unpredictable conditions are skills that extend far beyond the trails and into everyday life.
Now, whether I’m leading a group on a remote fell race recce, coaching endurance athletes, or just getting lost (on purpose) to test a new route, my Mountain Leader qualification has given me the confidence to embrace adventure safely and responsibly. It’s not just about the peaks I climb but the people I get to share the journey with.
What do my awards mean to me? They mean trust, trust in my skills, trust from those I guide, and trust that the mountains will always offer something new to learn. And that’s why I love doing this.
