Description

Walked from Achnashellach station north west then north on a stalkers path continuing north then north north west to drochaid coire lair then heading north west onto the far East top of Beinn Laith Mhor from there north west over the east top and then the main summit. We headed west then south to the belach by passing the cone marked 769m. From the lochan we picked up a path initially going west then south east up to the summit of Sgorr Ruadh. we went south south east across the summit plateau then descended via rough loose ground to the big belach where we contoured south east to pick up the stalkers path back to Achnashellach station.

Area : Cuillin and Torridon (Liathach)

This area is on the west coast of Scotland and its most well-known mountains are probably Beinn Eighe (1010m) and Liathach (1055m). The area is bordered by Loch Maree and the A832 to the north and Glen Carron and the A890 to the south. It should not to be confused with The Cuillin which is on Skye and listed in the Western Isles region. The mountains list contains all peaks above 800m.
