Description

1 Client personal guided tour of Langdale Pikes.
Started in New Dungeon Gill Hotel car park and followed Stickle Ghyll up to the Tarn. From here followed the Public Right Of Way up Pavey Ark from the East, once up quickly headed West to tick off Harrison Stickle, Loft Crag and Pike of Stickle. From here I took the client off path direct for Thunacar Knott and followed the PROW up to High Raise. From the summit we headed SE down to Sergeant Man and once again followed the PROW back to Stickle Tarn. From the tarn it was back down the ghyll to the pub/car.
Really sunny day but chilly on top.

Area : Central Fells

The Vale of Keswick, provides separation from the Northern Fells whilst to the west runs the long valley of Borrowdale. The parallel eastern boundary is created by Thirlmere and the St Johns in the Vale. Grasmere to Windermere forms the remainder of the eastern boundary. In the west, Stake Pass descends into Great Langdale.
