To Slioch with M. Only 8hrs daylight so the urgency was on. Started from Incheril at 08.10. Breakable crust & surface hoar in the coire & I was tiring. Fortunately we picked up tracks (not today) at the top of the slant & this made easier progess. Icy ground in the dip before the trig point led to crampons on & as the trig point bump itself was snow free, we contoured to the summit at 12.30. Concious of time we chose the east ridge to its low point, then slant down into the coire. Caught up with John Higham, who we had seen near the summit & who had bivied at 500m. Back at the car at16.25 - just timed it nicely.
