Expedition to Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes with an extension for Lobuche East & Island Peak. Leading 1 client working with an assistant leader, local guides and porters. Coaching in self-care in the mountains, nutrition & hydration, dealing with altitude, movement skills, packing rucksacks and the full range of skills necessary for the mountains and Nepal.
Day 13. Lobuche East 6090m! 0100 start. Perfect conditions, no wind and warm. Claire did fantastically for her first mountaineering experience.
ASsthe weather window was shutting we continued on for another 3.5 hours to Dingboche afterwards so we could get to Island Peak before the incoming snow! An absolutely mega day!
