Walk out of Glossop to Higher Shelf Stones, and on to Overexposed crash site. Continued across open moorland to Yellowslacks Clough and returning to Glossop. Deep snow on ground. Excellent visibility Now rain.

Is situated between Sheffield and Manchester. The underlying rock is Millstone grit which is often exposed at the edge of the higher peat bogs for which the area is famous.
