Mountain Leader
I have known John for several years. Over this time his experience, knowledge and skills has developed. Throughout his Quality Days training, building up to the Moorland Leader Award, he has assisted and led (under supervision pre-award) in the guiding of groups in upland and moorland terrain. He is a extremely competent leader, always conscious of group safety with sound judgement in dynamic risk assessment situations. His interaction with clients is focused upon their enjoyment, good humour and sharing his enquiring knowledge of upland flora and fauna. This is borne out with excellent feedback for him, which I unreservedly endorse.
