This is a new group to Bloc. This was their second session and todays aim was footwork i.e. edging, foot swaps, pointing.
- Warm up (cardio + mobility exercises)
- Session aim
- Discussion on what the group interpretation of the aim
- Discussion on what the group thinks the pros and cons are of taught technique or skill acquisition.
- Easy climbing focusing on points discussed and solutions that the group have come up with.
- Climbing
- WATER BREAK
- More climbing to build confidence in pushing and the techniques associated with effective movement.
- Look at some boulder problems that challenge the session aim and whether it is effective in all areas of bouldering or is a niche skill.
- Free climb to experiment with the newly acquired skill.
- Debrief/cooldown/Stretch out
A keen group with some physically strong climbers. But some temperament of their campusing will be needed to train technique properly.
