Description

Personal climbing session after my coaching session.
I did my standard warm up:
Cardio circuits - 5-10 minutes
Mobility exercises using therabands and free weights - 10 - 15 minutes
Then my climbing:
VB- V0: 4 problems rom this set just practicing technique
V1 - V2: 3 problems from this set just practicing technique
V3-V4: 5 problems from the new set. All pretty straight forward, bar from the top move on the re don the LH side of the traverse wall. The mantle move at the top is one to make you think. Definitely V4.
V4 - V5: 4 problems from this circuit in the new set. All sent easily, but absolutely love the purple side ways dyno comp problem and the blue problem on the overhang with the dynamic pop to the macro and carrying your feet over to the next set of holds.
V5 - V6: Repeated an overhanging V6 problem on the RH side of the steep prow in Unit 3. Clean to the top, off balanced finishing position. I also worked the the V6 problem on the outside of the cave. The mantle problem was solved in 3 attempts. but the slab problem is taking longer. Still figuring out the position for the hand movement at the third move.
V6+: Just a couple of light hearted attempts at the new white problem on the steep overhang over the traverse wall. Got the first 4 moves, but off balance to make the next move. Wasn't too interested in giving it a serious attempt today, but will be back to give it a proper go.
