The winter climbs of Lochnagar are highly sought after, and they include several extremely fine routes of historical significance. As areas in the Cairngorms go, these cliffs are not too remote and in good conditions several parties may be found on the various more popular climbs.
Whilst everywhere else is really slim pickings. Lochnagar made for an excellent choice.
