The Edinburgh Outcrops area covers those crags in the SMC Lowland Outcrops guidebook section of the same name. It includes a number of minor and unfrequented crags and the sandstone cliffs of Roslin Glen, and also the trad routes of Ratho Quarry, once very popular but now less so following the building of the Ratho climbing arena (the outdoor sport climbs in the quarry should be entered in the sport climbing section of DLOG). It also includes the city centre possibilities on the Salisbury Crags.
Took 3 people on an 'outdoor climbing taster'. They had all climbed indoors but wanted to try outdoors. Lived near Blackford so made sense to take them there
