Second day. Was far more in the middle of this but kept with a second group who I quizzed on nav. One student moved off due to illness. Discussed peat, moss, bog, and more as we headed to steng a tor. At Sandy Ford had an interesting berate off of another school due to me saying to the students that the area to the left was shallow. Their teacher told them not to listen to random strangers and proceeded to cross them in thigh deep water where two slipped in. Interesting. Discussed students how they should read a map to aid in planning and how moving up a shoulder was better for energy than trying to go straight up.
