D of E Bronze practice day walk around Saltash and surrounding countryside with 6 participants.
Aims of the day were to gauge what the group`s navigation was like and to give them some training and guidance to improve it. We also looked at road safety and river crossing safety. We started off the day with the group navigating together, then progressed to each group member leading legs and finding points such as footpath junctions, field boundary convergences, and streams.
