Description

Day 3: The search for water
Having camped for the night at a water source, the next plan was to press ahead and find a new water source for the next camp. As learnt over prior days, we knew this wouldn`t be easy so decided to split the main group into 2 smaller sub-teams and recce for water and a new camp site.
We stripped down our gear and took minimal kit with us to enable us to travel light, including leaving the camp intact. The plan being if a water source was found nearby, we would return and pack up camp and move to the new site. If water was found later in the day we would move the camp the following day
We found a fantastic water source and new camp site (what appeared to be an abandoned hunting camp) and returned to the main camp approx 18:00, too late to relocate so we bedded down for a second night at this location, ready to move camps on day 4

Area : Canada
