Includes crags which are North of the A5 through the Ogwen Valley, and those approached from Bethesda. Popular crags and routes include: Craig yr Isfa (Amphitheatre Buttress, V Diff), Carreg Mianog (Cracked Arete, VS 4b), Craig Lloer (Kirkus's Route VS 5a), and the magnificent Llech Ddu.
Cold and greasy, with snow and ice in places. Got 2/3rds of way up then abseiled into left hand gully and solo`d to the top
