North Buttress route. First climbed by Doug Scott in 1979AD/D Summit 6359mtrs
6-man team attempted the second British ascent. Semi Alpine style, high point reached at 5300mtrs before conditions and lack of time forced us to abandon the attempt. Dates given in log include acclimatisation walk in and walk out on completion.
