As mentioned I failed to keep a log of my early walks so most of the specifics of these are lost. However I do know that one of my first trips with friends (rather than supervised) outside of the Peak District was to Hawes Youth hostel in February 1991 and we climbed some of the high hills north of there, most likely on reflection Great Shunner Fell.
