
A walk from Pen Y pass following the miners track to Llyn Llydau and then heading up slope toward the ridge of Y Lliwedd on gaining the ridge followed the ridge onto the summit observing a broken spectre on the way and then down to the col and then up the slope to Snowden in the cloud very few visitors on top followed track to Garnedd Ugain the plan had been to move onto Crib goch and then down but the weather was getting worse so returned to Bwlch Glas and descending the miners track back to the pass

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
