The sheltered Moray coast, often with excellent weather when places further south and west are damp in a moist SW airflow, provide some popular trad climbs, notably at Cummingston and Logie Head. This area includes all the crags covered in the section of the same name in the SMC North-East Outcrops guidebook. These include Cummingston, Covesea, Logie Head, Redhythe Point, Rose Hearty and Ben Rinnes.
we had a group who came for 3 days wanting to further their climbing technique, it was very useful as i got to use some coaching skills and was i aloud to set and coach the groups.
