Did north ridge scramble with Ellie and Rich. Played on the cannon. Ellie wanted to do Bristley screes but we had had a late start (10am) and we were really slow due to photo faff, weather was closing in, wind had got up, mist had come in and I opted for a decent back to the car. Rich was persuaded by the thought of beer and Ellie by the prospect of hot chocolate. As we came off the hill it started to rain. Good choice.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
