Description

Took Dan Heaton and Apollo Lloyd up the East Ridge of Harrison Stickle. Both under 18 and part of HSX. What a great route, not really long but lots of interesting ground on it with good belays. The weather was pretty grim all day so had to take time on simpler step ground as the rock and grass was very wet. W e walked from the Dungeon gill car park to Pavey Ark then did the scramble, summited Harrison Stickle. We then summited Pike Howe and then headed back down past Ravens crag to the CP.

Area : Central Fells

South of the A66 and east of the Hardknott Pass as far east as the Kirkstone Pass
