Description

I was leading 6 scouts along the John Muir way for our overnight expedition. We started at Abercorn church and walked to Linlithgow.
Clearly defined path.
Ensured we took regular rest and snack breaks and managed to get all 6 (tired) but back to scout hall for hotdogs and hot chocolate by 2.30am.
Lovely clear evening
Lost the trail when we got to Bo`ness but got us back on very quickly once worked out where I had gone wrong. I used this as an opportunity to educate the young people as to how easy it can be to go wrong and what to do to get back on track.
A lovely evening!
