Description

Climbed from Edale up Jacob's Ladder to Kinder Low, Kinder Downfall, The Edge, Seal Edge, Crowden Head & return via Grindslow Knoll. 'Rising' waterfall at Kinder Downfall was memorable, navigation difficult across the plateau amoungst the degrading peat bog.

Area : Dark Peak

Is situated between Sheffield and Manchester. The underlying rock is Millstone grit which is often exposed at the edge of the higher peat bogs for which the area is famous.
