Description

After Rob led Equinox and seconded Branwen, he threw down the rope for me to give Solstice a go. After I made it up that, the Direct finish didn`t seem too bad (on top rope; would`ve been different on lead!).

Area : Llanberis Slate (Trad)

A showcase of Welsh climbing, the names are evocative of the eighties and nineties: Vivian, Australia, Dali’s Hole, Rainbow Slab, Never Neverland, Lost World, Twll Mawr. Lots of hard stuff, mostly single pitch and a new guidebook with a quaintly non-portable format. Comes the Dervish, German Schoolgirl, Pull My Daisy, just do them.
