International Mountain Leader
I've known Mark since I first met him several years ago when he was preparing for his ML (Summer) Assessment and we have become good friends. Mark joined me one year for a winter skills trip to the Western highlands based out of Fort William and I was impressed about how quickly he learned the essential skills of winter mountain walking. Mark came with me as Assistant Leader to Everest Base Camp in November 2019 and was a pleasure to work with. Subsequently I managed a Mt Toubkal trip with MLs who were keen to learn about treks and expeditions in that area of the High Atlas Mountains of North Africa. I wish Mark every success on his journey to becoming an International Mountain Leader for which I think he has all the right qualities. he is passionate about the mountains and has a pleasant personality and is always easy to work with.
