I first met Jess when she visited Marle Hall OEC with her school as a 14yr old. Since that time her dream of becoming an outdoor instructor has never diminished. She is a very capable and conscientious person who has put an enormous amount of effort into her career so far. I have no doubt that she will make an excellent and inspiring mountain leader and female role model for those she works with. As she matures and grows in confidence whilst working in the mountains, passing the MIA and Winter ML will be a very natural progression for Jess. It is personally very rewarding to be in a position to provide Jess with a reference. She has come a long way in a short time.
