International Mountain Leader
Guy has worked as an outdoor instructor for our summer school for 2 years and as an expedition teacher since August. He has moved from Austria to Switzerland. He is very conscienscious and well prepared in his work. He enjoys the mountains and spends time exploring and extending his own personal experience. He is a considered and caring instructor and leader taking time to ensure his groups are informed and prepared and well cared for in the mountains. His preparation extends to developing resources and research so that he is better able not only to physically challenge those in his care but also to enhance the experience with insights and activities. I have no hesitation in recommending Guy on to the IML scheme and his location in the moyenne mountains of Switzerland should give him the many opportunies he needs to extend and develop his experience and judgement. He is very motivated and organised and I am sure he will be very prepared and finally his attitude should ensure he is an asset to the scheme. Louise Thomas Turner
