Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor
I first met Lee as a peer instructor on a Rock climbing multi-pitch Military expedition of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. It was my very first expedition as an instructor and I reached out to Lee as he came with a very good reputation as an instructor. I found him very helpful and personable from the start and through the actual expedition I was impressed by his knowledge, enthusiasum and upbeat nature. I was later invited by Lee to be an instructor on his unit expedition in Bulgaria which he had planned, organised and resourced from the start. Although we had now built a friendship, I was impressed by his ability to run the expedition in an area that was relitively untouched by military expeditions and deliver a fantastic package that was thoroughly enjoyed by the clients and instructors alike. Lee has a plethora of Military qualifications that cover the whole range of mountain skills required to become an MCI candidate, from a high level of mountaineering skills and rock climbing multi pitch instructor qualifications. Most are either MTA recognised and equivalent or have been updated post his military career to stay current. Lee is a fantastic instructor who has helped guide me on my own personal journey as an instructor and I look forward to seeing him flourish as he continues his.
