International Mountain Leader
I have known Remi since 2009 where we enrolled together on a four year degree in Environmental Science and Outdoor education. Together we have embarked on numerous winter walks, climbs and adventures both in the UK and in Iceland, notably a month long crossing of Iceland from south to north and also two further months hiking mountains in the country. It has been my great pleasure to share experiences in the mountains and beyond with Remi be it sharing a one man tent for 7 weeks to a flat for four years, he on all accounts a truly excellent climber, leader, expeditionist and above all a friend. Remi's experience in a variety of conditions across numerous peaks in several countries such as French alps, pyrenees, Austria and Germany is solidly backed up with a positive and proactive attitude to whatever life may throw at him. I truly believe Remi will be a superb international mountain leader and a strong candidate for assessment.
