An experienced mountaineering instructor providing courses and instruction across the South West and major mountain areas of the UK.
RCI, HML, LL and ICA Course Director. Deliver refresher courses and skills courses for all aspects of summer mountaineering; climbing, navigation and summer mountaineering instruction.

Technical Advice - With a wealth of experience not only in climbing and mountaineering but in organisational development and training design from other aspect of my career; I offer services from ad hoc advice to full service packages including site specific training and assessment based on your needs, current best practice and ensuring you can satisfy your legal duty of care. I am on the Adventure For All recommended Technical Adviser for Accessible Climbing register, provide courses and workshops for Mountain Training (see above), the BMC, AMI and MTA.
In addition to mountaineering I have a wealth of experience in Leadership and personal development including; 10+ years Command experience in the Army Reserve including service in Afghanistan and the development of regionalised recruit training strategy. Operations management in a large adventure company delivering personal development and leadership training. I deliver a workplace coach education programme for students in higher education. I regularly deliver training and coaching workshops for corporate organisations, universities, colleges and schools. I am a certified Teacher (DET), master coach and member of the Chartered Management Institute.
