I have been teaching in the outdoors since 2000 and have a wide range of experience having climbed; kayaked, walked, cycled, surfed, scuba dived and explored many parts of the UK and Ireland. I have also been on a numerous rock climbing trips to Europe, cross-country skied in Arctic Circle of Norway, and climbed peaks in Nepal and India.

I run a small outdoor pursuits company called Hatt Adventures based in Brighton offering a range of courses in rock climbing, abseiling, mountain walking, navigation, kayaking and survival.

My main passion for teaching in the outdoors is in technical skills, expeditions and endurance challenges. This comes from a strong background in performance training being a qualified fitness instructor and a Royal Marines Commando.
