I passed SPA and MLS back in 2004,which I have used extensively since then, working primarily on D of E Silver/Gold Expeditions(Pinnacle/Apex Training),Summer Schools(Dallam Outdoors),Cragging days(Dallam,Adventure Peaks) and Navigation Courses(Whilst working for Adventure Peaks).MLW passed February 2013.I lived in The Lake District for 15 years, during this time I spent 6 years Fell Racing(For Kendal AAC) during the Summer,climbing in Winter,and was a Hill-Going Member of Kendal Mountain Rescue Team for the last of my 6 years there.

Since moving to Glen Coe for the winter of 2012/13 to gain QMD's for MLW Assessment, I decided I wanted to stay... I found myself Full Time Employment at The Ice Factor.
I have been working solidly on Rock Climbing and Indoor Ice Climbing since February2013.and also guiding (Summer/Winter) in The Highlands ,covering Private Guiding,leading 3 Peaks Challengers and Winter Skills Courses(Including night navigation and wild/winter camping),and have also been trained in Alpine Ropework(M.Pescod), and I am registered as a Hill and Mountain Skills Tutor.
I am also the Founder of The Real 3 Peaks Challenge:Cleanse & Conserve (The simultaneous cleaning of Ben Nevis,Scafell Pike and Snowdon on the same day).
